My legs are killing me from a crazy day at work... this is what you get when you don't work as often... anyway my sister saw this young guy climbing up the wall just OUTSIDE MY APARTMENT as she went downstairs to get the letters! yes, like spiderman... apparently, he didn't have to cling on to anything... he tried to make sure that he was out of my sister's sight before he started climbing but we stay on the second storey so duh, she met him on the second floor when she went up... and when my kid neighbour saw him, he tried to shush them... i just hope he was just practising his qinggong or promoting spiderman 3 or something and does not result in some misdemeanor... but this is just so weird!

it is difficult to translate the text because certain words/feelings just can't be expressed in english... oh i was trying to learn dance from video and found that i have a problem... you know people usually mirror the actions on the video (video: right hand viewer left), i usually can learn in the correct direction... but now, there is this video that you can learn just mirroring the video, but i'm totally doing it the opposite way... oh well...

had my first audio production tutorial today... we experimented with the recorders and did on location and studio recordings... i sound so different! I sound gentler, but a little nasal... that's how i sound when i'm a little shy i guess... but it wasn't too bad... at least i didn't fumble with the equipment like i was dreading... oh but there is still single camera to worry about...

I realised that my lectures are basically on tuesdays and wednesdays... the longest school days of the week... film doesn't count since the tutorial continues from there... and the rest of the days are tutorials... speaking of which i don't know what to expect at all cuz i'm a technophobe and although i'm fine with the common stuff like computers and handphones and cameras, the thought of semi-professional equipment scares the pants off me... and there are skills tests! like how to set up single camera equipment... i don't know if i can remember how to use the equipment...*dread dread* and don't talk about basic media research, there are so many assignments on that one and i hope we don't need to survey 500 people... that will waste so much time...urgh! Luckily my cds is more based on projects than lessons, and there is more creative freedom... it's english-chinese translation by the way...

had apel2 and BMR lecture today..
miss winnie tan was pretty interesting... but BMR was OMGoodness OH SO TSUMARANAI NE! its all about research and surveying and the important stuff and all but still!
The first introductory lecture was about hierarchy to knowledge acquisition... there is a HIERARCHY to such a thing! Some people are so free to assemble a hierarchy of how we learn stuff! Apparently it goes like this...

I've got medsoc, journ, marketing and photog books at much lower price and still in good condition...

ok, that done, today was the first day of school and started with film t&c with miss ng... the bus ride to school was horrendous... i could hardly get onto the bus! met tracy at the bus stop and made our way to mediabiz studios for the lecture/tutorial. we saw ms ng on the way and of all things she forgot to take from her office, she forgot her bag... that was such a joke! but the bigger joke was that she asked me to take the notes to class first, then when she came to class, she forgot if she had printed the notes till i gave them to her... all this happened in the space of less than 15 minutes! Apart from that, she apparently fell asleep watching the movie we were supposed to be watching... she is the most unlikely lecturer i have ever met...

so, for film, i have 6 film journals and a term paper to write... just like literature all over again... somehow, i don't mind getting this elective although my first choice was broadcast performance... at the very least i have an excuse to watch movies/films... woohoo...

Had two job interviews and turned down one... still will keep my macs job though... can't really bear to leave... i'm in a state of depression/confusion...
