school's officially out... still have to work on the chinese stop press stuff but that's ok.. preparing to go to China for the attachment/study trip... it will be almost a month till i get back though...
Can't wait for Jolin's latest album to be released... the music video trailer is so COOL! C-O-O-L...
kim jae won is in it... and there was supposed to be a kiss, but was taken out cuz he had a cold during filming... jolin learnt those stunts for the video in 10 days and did it herself... no stunt doubles! you really can't rest on your laurels being an artiste these days... first she did the ribbon and the ball rhythmic gymastics, then the still rings and the vault (or the pommel horse, can't tell the difference), now she does the pole dance and the aerial ribbon for her new music video... the lengths some people go to... oh and the dress that jolin wore for the red carpet during the golden music awards in Taiwan, halle berry wore it too...
anyway, i watched this movie called dead silence and it's not outwardly scary, just creepy... and i'm not going to go near ventriloquist dolls (or any weird looking doll... read: chucky-like) anytime soon though... go watch...

got a B+ for film theory term paper. not sure how to gauge cuz apparently the lowest score i've heard of so far is a B. So is a B+ a good or bad thing? well, that's the least of my worries cuz miss ng hardly fails anyone unless it's late work or like plagiarism or something serious. the bigger headache is BMR which i'm supposed to study for but the thing is, i know the stuff in a mixed up way... like design validity, internal validity, external validity... urgh... disgusting stuff, i'd take physics or chemistry over this anytime... not that i really want to, but physics sure is easier than this shit... spent the whole week mulling over the concepts in the textbooks and ended up watching the Simple Life: Goes to Camp... Love it..
Behind the facade of Hollywood (read: bimbo-ness, sex tapes, money, glamour, drugs, alcoholism, drunk driving etc...), Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie are pretty nice and smarter than i expected them to be, (they lose points in the area of housework and stuff) especially Nicole... she is/was a drug addict and has a messed up life but in reality she is one intelligent girl with lots of talents (go Google her profile)... get this, she was an undergraduate at the University of Arizona before messing up with drugs.. Funny bit: When Kathy Hilton came to visit, she counselled one of the guys in couples camp who was having committment jitters and quoted "why buy the milk when the cow is free..." erm... wasn't it supposed to be "why buy the cow when the milk is free"?
Anyway, got to go study BMR or i won't even need drugs to mess up my academic career...

Projects are oh-so-over... Went to school for no reason today... just to disturb Samuel's group and sit in on their class, watched their projects which were pretty good... then slacked around in the video editing suite and chatted, then went to bizpark to eat...
Oh, Kennneth and Samuel bought jelly beans... and Kenneth's was Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans which, yups, is the Harry Potter one... They had vomit-flavoured ones, earwax, rotten eggs, sausage, booger, soap etc... Vomit one was disgusting, sausage was YUCK but still edible... the the ABSOLUTE WORST is the SOAP! It really tastes like soap... urghh... anyway, Kenneth and Tracy were both feeling sick after lunch, nauseous and stuff, and we suspected it might have been the soap BB's beans, which i hadn't had, so i tried it...Urgh! It was totally disgusting! Had to brush my teeth when I got home... the taste was alright, but the smell and the aftertaste!
Anyway... it's been almost two hours since i had the soap beans and i'm still going strong... it's very likely that it was the beans but the difference lies in the digestive system... cuz i'm quite immune(or have a high tolerance) to lots of things, so i don't exactly make a good experiment... oops... haha... hope you guys are feeling better...

I've been missing for quite abit a seeing as i have set up a cyworld account and have been busy with deadlines and filming and tuition...
I LOVE YOU MISS CHEE!!! You saved us from hell... My singcam group had a huge freak out when we thought our footage was not captured on tape and there was a mad rush to locate talents... then miss chee came in and helped us check our tape and as it turns out, there was just a mix up in timecode! so the footage is way front! My bad! I was squealing and audrey and nabilah were hugging... they even wanted to hug miss chee but she declined... Did a rough cut and she said it was good, just need to tighten up the shots and add subs! Muahaha... that's my only project left... Audio is done! We make an efficient team, tracy, munah and i! Hail us, *** b**ches!

finally i can breathe a little.. been super busy these two days...
yesterday was the F&N workshop with mr khaw, and sarah, huiyu and i felt useless being there! Apparently, the most people there were already well-versed enough in chinese, and those who weren't preferred to rely on their peers to translate instead of approaching us, so we were just like attending a lesson on chinese culture and its relation to business... but, the thing was that mr khaw introduced us to the F&N organiser as his top students... lol..
then i had to rush off to give maxine chinese tuition, ran home, then went off to give katherine english and math tuition... my day started at 6am and ended at 9+... Phew...
Then today, woke up early to edit my single cam project... oh my god, were the shots bad bad bad! we really lacked proper shots! but then again, the actors weren't too professional either, but i know you guys did your best anyway... it was really frustrating! Then i went over to the audiosuite simultaneously to do my audio pro radio drama project, did my lines, then went back to the video-editing suite... wait, that's not the end... audrey and i went to cover the DJ Fight Club auditions, found nothing happening yet, then went to the LT to take the pop quiz before going back... interviewed the host 小猪 and one of the judges 叶丽梅 *woots*

I can't sleep and i have this event that i have to go to where all the Fraser&Neave people are going to attend cuz Sarah, Huiyu and i are helping our cds tutor as some kind of language interpreter... its at 8.45am and i have to wake up at 6am...

I got an A for my PiCC seletar article! OMG! I get to go on an expense-paid tour to Suzhou from Beijing with 8 other friends! I am so excited! I was all giggly and stuff when audrey called me with the news! Why not take the chance and make it a month long break from Singapore? *Woots*
Anyway, singcam filming was tiring today... continuing tomorrow... hopefully it will go well...
