It's only week 5 and it's been a crazy week, which kind of explains why i've no mood to blog... but multimedia is kind of ZZZ-inducing... so here i am... trying to edit spiderman clips to a song called We Are... nice song, but kind of boring and the the songs are playing all over the place cuz most of us forgot to bring earphones...
Went to Business China launch on Monday and thought that the speeches by MM Lee and Premier Wen Jia Bao were impressive... i wish i could speak half as coherently as them...
CCC class on Tuesday then went to do interviews for CL news and Radio projects... A HUGE hug kiss thanks to Tracy for helping me with the interviews, especially the dokbokki!! Haha... Took the whole day and ate all sorts of sinful food... doughnuts, candy floss, cupcakes...
Wednesday morning was the presentation with the poly's senior management and it was ok, except that presenting to an older audience was kind of different... a little nervous i guess... i don't know... Then Radio tutorial was quite fun when we had to record a phone call.. I asked akmal what it felt like to have curly hair... teehee... Up for SIP soon... I hope i get a comfortable placing somewhere...
AND TODAY... handed in proposal for multicam and had skills test... I never felt so stupid in my life though it was ok and pretty funny... i couldn't find the damn tilt switch... grrr... made all the minor and usual mistakes... but miss chee and mr pok were pretty nice... so i guess its ok...
Oh well.. that just about sums up my school life at the moment.. More projects to hand it but it will just get better...
Anyway, I bought super junior's second album and i feel very happy... i like asian guys better than angmohs... oh and they had a 2nd version MV of their first single Don't Don... i thought it was going to be radically different or have at least better angles and stuff, but guess what... all they had were an additional CGed red sun/planet Mars thing and two more shots of violinist Henry... which was placed towards the end of the clip so i'm like what a waste of time... not for the viewers but the people who had to edit the MV... Having done editing, i know how irritating it is... Super Junior fighting!!!

It's been a week since i blogged but my mind has been a blank for the most part...
but i found some interesting sites which has some quirky stuff...
the worst wordsThis is so apt and applies to a lot of Singaporeans. Especially those with fake accents, those who try to have an accent and fail horribly and those who just can't say it right.
nationmaster interesting factsInteresting facts about countries.
Did you know the average person in the United Kingdom drinks as much tea as 23 Italians?
50 interesting factsThis could be used for radio production... hmm...

Went with Tracy, Kenneth and Samuel to watch this movie called the Last Breath at Plaza Singapura on the recommendation of Anthony...
Well, it is supposedly a horror movie... but the horror is not in the ghosts and supernatural whatnots (there is too little of that, sadly... the ghosts are the nice ones not the kind that tries to attack the person at every corner...) but the gore with ancient brain surgery and all that... Current FTC students, go watch the movie after heightening your 'movie sensitivity' in FTC and you will get what i mean... the storyline does not follow and it is predictable and slow in the wrong places that made kenneth and i laugh instead of being thrilled by the horror, if there was to begin with... You go into the theatre thinking that it is going to be some ju on-like show and it ends up more like a slasher film. Sure, there are the usual shocks where the ghosts suddenly appear, but the irritating thing is that the ghosts mumble under their breath or screech like nobody's bloody business... can't they just talk properly and tell us what the hell they want? The music and the sound effects were like...erm... unsuited and overly dramatic for a horror movie... it sounded as if the music was from some soap opera or comedy... another so hilarious it is irritating point in the movie...
Any compliments? Well, the storyline has potential for development if it weren't so cut and paste... the war concept is good and i like that they used Japanese and Korean, languages that i am currently into... but that's just about it..
in one line, the movie is 'is this really a horror film?'
review and storyline
heremet mingkee at daiso. hehe what a coincidence...

It's time to swing into action as projects are starting to kick in. BUT. BUT. I seriously have no idea how i am going to do it. It seems easy enough, with all the deadlines and stuff in the student guide and all but there are no muses hanging around that inspire me to write. HOW???
the 8 of us in Chinese newswriting just STONED at the book talk at the library that we had to cover for assignment this afternoon. It was not the speaker's fault, she seems like a nice person... it's just what we do... space out... perry even fell asleep in the front row! It's amazing how we managed to take notes subconciously, well, for me anyway... Ailsa and i tried to talk to a few students who were standing around and we probably asked like 6 or 7 questions and you would think we would have gotten a nice quote like 'the library is very big and nice...' but NO, not even a word could be squeezed out of them... fredrick, yunru and perry were 'took charge' of 'class entertainment' today... but chinese newswriting is the least of my worries... i blog in chinese regularly enough... it's multicam... i have developed a strong dislike for buttons in the control room... radio is fine, not that complicated.. yet. whatever.
